Holding Two Sides of the Same Coin

One of my greatest strengths is being able to see both sides of the same coin at once.

You are either left or right. You are either a Kanye maxi or you hate him. You can’t like both the Canadians and the Maple Leafs. Crypto is either a scam or the next technological revolution.

I feel that nowadays it’s always “you are with us or against us.” It’s impossible to be impartial, but more and more I advance in life, the more I’m like that.

I never think something is as great as people say and I also don’t think that something is as bad as people say. There’s always some balance in the middle, but algorithms and social media push us to form extreme opinions.

The problem is that people are missing out on so much by forming an opinion on something right away. Either because it’s against their “ideals”, or because it’s not the popular opinion.

There’s so many smart people that are assholes, but you’re missing a lot of knowledge from these people if you just don’t take the time to try and understand what they mean underneath.

There’s so many nice people that you can interact with even if they hold ideals/values that go against yours.

It becomes an advantage to people who are able to not take things personally.
