Being Lucky

Really enjoy Hsieh’s view on luck. I also believe that overall, I’m a lucky person and I believe it’s for two reasons:
I never attribute failure to being unlucky. A failure is either a fuck-up on my end and/or a learning opportunity.
I always attribute a part of my success/winnings to luck.
Following this “philosophy” combined with a high self-confidence in being able to get out of bad situations has allowed me to make riskier decisions in life.
In general, I also believe that the more you believe you are unlucky, the more unluckiness you will attract because you will start attributing more events to your unluckiness, which will lead you to believe you are unlucky, and that will create a flywheel effect.
The opposite also holds true. The luckier you believe you are, the more luck you will see in events that happen to you, and the more you will start believing you are lucky.
